In questa puntata abbiamo incontrato i The Apulian Blues Foundation, band nata tra le dune di Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) e le terre aride della Puglia. Il loro sound unisce le radici del blues africano al rock acido e monolitico del Sud Italia, dando vita a quello che definiscono “delta stoner”. Il nuovo album “Traditional Songs About Life, Death and Rebirth”, in uscita il 21 novembre 2025 per Zann’s Records, contiene otto brani che rendono omaggio al blues degli anni ’20 e ’30, reinterpretato con un’attitudine sporca, moderna e intrisa di stoner rock. Registrato e mixato da Dario Tatoli al REH Studio del MAT di Terlizzi (BA) e masterizzato da Claudio Gruer al Pisi Studio di Roma, il disco consolida lo stile personale e riconoscibile della band.

In this episode, we meet The Apulian Blues Foundation, a band born between the dunes of Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) and the dry lands of Southern Italy. Their sound fuses African blues roots with the acid, monolithic rock of Apulia, shaping what they define as “delta stoner”. Their new album, “Traditional Songs About Life, Death and Rebirth”, out on November 21st, 2025 via Zann’s Records, features eight tracks that pay tribute to early 20th-century blues while filtering it through a gritty, modern, stoner-rock attitude. Recorded and mixed by Dario Tatoli at REH Studio (Terlizzi, BA) and mastered by Claudio Gruer at Pisi Studio (Rome), the record marks an essential milestone for the band, strengthening their unique and recognizable style.
