In questa puntata incontriamo Skulld, band nata in Romagna nel 2019 con l’obiettivo di fondere l’old-school Swedish death metal con suggestioni sciamaniche ed esoteriche, il tutto radicato in una forte posizione femminista, antifascista e antirazzista. Dopo l’EP “Reinventing Darkness” (2020) e il primo album “The Portal Is Open” (2024), il gruppo prosegue il proprio percorso con “Abyss Calls To Abyss”, un lavoro che esplora l’abisso come dimensione interiore e cosmica, tra ritualismo ancestrale, mitologia pagana e una visione del death metal come esperienza spirituale, simbolica e trasformativa.

🎙️ Quick Five – Flash Interview is Il Raglio Del Mulo’s video series created to give artists quick and dynamic visibility through five direct and spontaneous questions. Each interview is a short journey into the musicians’ creative universe — real, authentic, and straight to the point.
In this episode, we meet Skulld, a band formed in Romagna, Italy, in 2019 with the goal of blending old-school Swedish death metal with shamanic and esoteric overtones, all rooted in a strong feminist, anti-fascist, and anti-racist stance. After the EP “Reinventing Darkness” (2020) and the full-length “The Portal Is Open” (2024), the band continues its journey with “Abyss Calls To Abyss”, a work exploring the abyss as both an inner and cosmic dimension, combining ancestral ritualism, pagan mythology and a vision of death metal as a symbolic, spiritual and transformative experience.
