Forgiati nell’underground romeno, i Ruyned danno forma a una delle manifestazioni più feroci e incontrollate dello speed metal contemporaneo con “Profanum Sacrificium”, un lavoro che intreccia l’impeto primordiale dello speed con innesti black, thrash e heavy metal tradizionale. Un disco rabbioso, blasfemo e senza compromessi, costruito per colpire con la stessa violenza di un assalto dal vivo.
L’introduzione prepara il terreno prima dell’esplosione sonora di “Speedchain”, della follia decadente di “Sex’n Speed” e “Sex Commander 666”, fino alle oscure suggestioni legate alla figura di Peter Kürten, il celebre Vampiro di Düsseldorf. La prima parte dell’album celebra eccesso, velocità e brutalità in una spirale di energia incontrollata.
Da “Daemonis Ritualis” in avanti, “Profanum Sacrificium” assume una dimensione concettuale più cupa, ispirata alle persecuzioni delle streghe che segnarono l’Europa tra il XV e il XVII secolo. Attraverso brani come “Profanum Sacrificium”, “Malleus Maleficarum” e “Witches Gallöw”, la band costruisce un immaginario fatto di roghi, misticismo e morte rituale, per poi chiudere il racconto con un’outro che trasforma l’orrore in una ballata tramandata da un bardo di corte.
Veloce. Grezzo. Feroce. Impietoso. Totale violenza speed metal.

Forged deep within the Romanian underground, Ruyned deliver one of the most savage and uncompromising expressions of contemporary speed metal with “Profanum Sacrificium”, a record that merges the primal force of speed metal with black, thrash, and traditional heavy metal influences. Furious, blasphemous, and utterly relentless, the album is built to strike with the same violence as a live assault.
The opening intro sets the stage before the explosive charge of “Speedchain”, the decadent madness of “Sex’n Speed” and “Sex Commander 666”, and the sinister references to Peter Kürten, the infamous Vampire of Düsseldorf. The first half of the record celebrates excess, velocity, and raw brutality through an unstoppable surge of energy.
From “Daemonis Ritualis” onward, “Profanum Sacrificium” descends into a darker conceptual realm inspired by the European witch hunts of the fifteenth to seventeenth centuries. Through tracks such as “Profanum Sacrificium”, “Malleus Maleficarum”, and “Witches Gallöw”, the band conjures visions of fire, mysticism, and ritual death before closing the narrative with an outro that retells the tragedy as a melody performed by a bard at a royal banquet.
Fast. Raw. Rabid. Merciless. Total speed metal violence.
