In questa puntata incontriamo Solar Mantra, band stoner rock di Roma attiva dal 2017, che presenta il secondo album “State Of Joyful Lightness”, in uscita l’8 maggio 2026 per Argonauta Records in formato CD e digitale. Dopo il debutto “Away” (2021), il gruppo compie un passo deciso verso sonorità più pesanti e oscure, mantenendo però una forte sensibilità melodica. Tra stoner rock, grunge e heavy psych, il disco unisce groove, riff potenti e atmosfere psichedeliche, registrate in live session e mixate in analogico per catturare l’energia naturale della band e ottenere un suono caldo, organico e dal sapore vintage.

🎙️ Quick Five – Flash Interview is Il Raglio Del Mulo’s video series created to give artists quick and dynamic visibility through five direct and spontaneous questions. Each interview is a short journey into the musicians’ creative universe — real, authentic, and straight to the point.
In this episode, we meet Solar Mantra, a stoner rock band from Rome, Italy, formed in 2017, presenting their second album “State Of Joyful Lightness”, set for release on May 8, 2026 via Argonauta Records (CD and digital). Following their debut “Away” (2021), the band moves toward a heavier and darker sonic direction while preserving their melodic sensibility. Blending stoner rock, grunge and heavy psych influences, the album combines powerful riffs, groove and psychedelic atmospheres. Recorded during live sessions and mixed through an analog system, the record captures the natural energy of the performances and delivers a warm, organic and vintage sound.
